Small cotton lace baptismal -heirloom piece christening gown with handmade lace across the bodice, sleeves and border on the bottom just enough lace and not too much, very restrained. There are no staines holes or wear in this exquisite piece. This was obviously preserved and put away after use for the next generation of babies that came along. There are three tiny nacre buttons that button up the bodice in the back. The whole bodice is lace and gathered underneath for three rows. The skirt is plain transparent and has a checkered motif pattern built into the fabric All the sewing is handmade and quite frankly I have never seen one in such nice condition and that's why I do this work! I love putting pieces out there that can live on in your family heirlooms!!! Fabulous for that summertime baptism cermony
